Services We Offer

Individualized Exercise Programming

Following initial evaluation, we will provide you with personalized exercises. When treating and preventing injuries it is important to not only perform the right movements, but to execute them specifically for their purpose. Practicing exercises in the clinic with cueing from a skilled therapist will allow for successful implementation at home. You will be equipped with a home exercise program designed to meet your needs. Exercises range from simple strength, balance, and mobility work to higher level dynamic movements. If you are returning to a physical job or sport, we will ensure that treatment meets the demands of your activity.

Manual therapy

Treatment will often begin with hands on work to assess how the body is doing and accelerate the recovery process. Manual therapy positively affects the musculoskeletal system as well as the nervous, lymph, and circulatory systems. Some forms of manual therapy that may be utilized are joint mobilizations, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), muscle energy techniques, myofascial release (MFR), kinesiotaping/athletic taping, and cupping.

Biomechanical Movement Assessments and Gait Analysis
Evaluating how your body moves allows us to determine how to best direct treatment. No two bodies move exactly the same and it is important to modify interventions for each individual. Your therapist will continue to gauge how your body is performing throughout the entire course of care as this is a continuous, everchanging process. We also offer both walking and running analysis to help you move more efficiently with less pain.
Pre and Post-Op Rehabilitation
Both pre- and post-operative physical therapy has a significant impact on surgical outcomes. “Pre-hab” is preventative care performed to help the body prepare for operation. By addressing strength, flexibility, and movement imbalances early on, we can accelerate recovery. Following your procedure, we will work on easing discomfort, reducing swelling, and preventing unwanted scar tissue. Additionally, we will help you regain strength, flexibility, ROM, and balance to maximize function and achieve your post-surgical goals!
Mobile Physical Therapy

We offer mobile physical therapy to local clients who have scheduling or mobility restrictions that make access to the clinic difficult. Mobile therapy is also a great option for those who want to work on specific functional tasks within their own home. Contact us to ask about setting up a mobile appointment.
